I grew up looking at art much like this in my various paper and pencil RPG books... Star Frontiers, Cyberpunk, Mechwarrior, D&D of course, and many more that were mostly hand-me-downs from before my time. I'm pleased to know someone who is carrying on the kind of art that fostered my most creative years. Really great stuff.

Closest I came to D&D was a bunch of pieces for Dragon Magazine and Dungeon Magazine. I've done a lot of fantasy stuff for other venues...most notably Green Ronin RPG products. My start, however, was in scifi RPG books. Beginning with Traveller...and a whole lot o' Star Wars! I'm glad the stuff stirred some cool memories, Mike.

I like that you're using traditional materials. It is attractive and interesting.

Well, Ms. Fidget...I must admit to having no digital skills whatsoever. *smile* So these days I'm considered a dinosaur of sorts. I just think that traditional methods look best. The human touch.

I completely agree with you.

When did you start draw?
Sorry for my poor english.

Your English is light-years better than my Russian! *smile* To answer your question: I was in a car accident when I was 4 years old and sustained a head injury that more-or-less wiped away any prior memories...so my earliest memory of drawing is kindergarten (5 years old). I didn't take my talent seriously until my mid-twenties. I'm passionate about my art now...but it wasn't always like that. How about you? How long have you been exercising your creative abilities?

I've been drawing since childhood too. Now I'm 20 years old. So, the answer to your question: ~ 15 years. But serious interest started at teenage years.
By the way, I prefer exactly the traditional materials and methods.

As for miniatures. I paint them for a year.

Well your miniature work is exceptional, and your traditional artwork is solid and energetic. A strong skill-set!
